Food Charrette 2011 book table

The 2012 Food Charrette focuses on increasing access to local food on Lopez. Anyone who cooks food, retails food, grows food, processes food, or eats food is invited. This year’s special focus is the Grand Opening of the Seed Library. Other issues include GM-free Lopez, the Thrive conference, the farm-t0-school program, food quizzes, and a commercial processing facility. Registration is $5 BYO lunch or $15 with a catered lunch from Vortex. This annual event will be Saturday, February 25 from 9:30-3:30 at the Community Center.
